WHAT IS THE VIRTUAL UNI?

The Virtual Uni is an online learning platform facilitating the learning of ICT at NVQ Level 2 – a qualification designed specifically to meet the needs of the employer. For an Electronic Information Pack, click here.

The Virtual Uni has been used as part of the Employer Training Pilot eQ8 (a Government-funded initiative) that has already helped more than 12,750 employees from more than 2,000 organisations in the public and private sector achieve NVQ Level 2 and Skills for Life qualifications. In 2006 there has been a period of transition from the eQ8 to the new Train To Gain funding.

We now have a renewed commitment to continue to offer workforce development skills through Train to Gain because we have further evidence that the success of any organisation is built on the skills and knowledge of its people.
